A larger 6-month trial in 337 adults with obesity and fatty liver found some lipid improvements, but no significant reduction in visceral or liver fat. Why is SOD studied in athletes?
Hard exercise can affect oxidative stress, which has led researchers to study SOD preparations in athletes. A small study in competitive rowers found changes in some antioxidant and inflammatory markers. It did not reduce exercise-induced oxidative damage. It used a different SOD formulation, not nuTRIELD, and does not establish faster recovery or better performance for this product. Read the study.

Is this a sports-performance supplement?
